strolling beside the sea, through woods and fields, across heathland, through charming fishing villages such as Mousehole and Lamorna, around our subtropical parks, Penlee and Morrab Gardens, or visiting local landmarks such as St.Michael’s Mount or Trengwainton Gardens.
Whether you are a visitor to or a new resident in the area, immerse yourself in the English language, get fit and soak up the scenery along iconic paths such as the South West Coastal Path and the many other footpaths around Penzance, or we can travel together by public transport to other nearby attractions then walk and talk there. Rambling at a steady pace, your English fluency will increase in leaps and bounds!

This kind of learning is very successful.
In August 2025 I was in Penzance Cornwall to visit an English-course.
My competent English-teacher was Rebecca from Penzance and she taught me English in ‘walk and talk’ and it was very interesting, and I learned a lot.
With walk and talk you learn English and the area, and you can visit a lot of nice places.
This kind of learning is very successful.
I stayed 9 days in Penzance and I had the English course every other day.
First we went to Sennen Cove by bus. The second day we visited St. Michals Mount and then we went to Mousehole and to the Morrab Gardens. Here we spoke a lot about Cornwall, the English history and the English peoples. Rebecca is well educated and very interested in the history and so we could speak a lot about the old history and the new history and the current politics.
She gave me homework and some sheets for the grammar.
And she gave me a book, the novel Dominion from C.J. Sansom , so I could read every evening in this interesting novel and on the other day we talked about this book.
I was fully satisfied with the English course and I want to say thank you very much to my teacher Rebecca.
Note: Life member of National Trust, so I get free entry plus one guest to its sites (St. Michael’s Mount, Trengwainton Gardens, etc.).
